Completely different than the ones where you are seated immediately. Here, you order first and than find a seat. Personally, I'd rather have a hostess, a server and be served, but it definitely was delicious. Prices are about average for BBQ. I've always been a fan of Jim & Nicks.

I have had Jim n’ Nicks once before in another city, and I liked it then and was excited to see it here at home. They did not disappoint. Walking in, the interior and atmosphere is amazingly beautiful. I love how it’s a lively and bright restaurant, it’s not dim and gloomy. It’s definitely welcoming. You get to pick your own table which I like. I was also surprised to see a bar. It is absolutely gorgeous in here. I loved the food and the baked beans exceeded my expectations. The bread was great. The cocktail was great. I can’t say enough good things. Friendly staff, fast service, nice atmosphere. 5 stars!

We had a fantastic experience at Jim ‘N Nick’s in Athens thanks to our server, Joey. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and on top of everything throughout our meal. Joey gave us great recommendations, and it was clear he’s passionate about what he does. What really stood out was how he took the time to connect with us personally—we even bonded over locations since he’s opening a store in Spartanburg, which happens to be where we’re from! Can’t wait to support him when his new place opens. A true professional and a genuinely great guy. Thanks, Joey!

This is hands down my new favorite BBQ restaurant. I had the smoked turkey. Awesome. My friends got the 3 meat plates. So I tried the ribs. All I can say is OMG. I Also tried the BBQ chicken and pork. So what ever you order I promise you won't be disappointed. Also the brisket chili is very good.

I remember the original Jim 'N Nick's in Alabama. The quality of the food hasn't changed a bit. It's still just as delicious and flavorful as ever! Great customer service as well 10/10 **Quarter Barbeque Chicken (dark meat), Mac & Cheese, and Potato Salad with their Signature Biscuits

Y’all, this place was so good! The line was out the door, but went at a good pace. We sat at the bar. Beer was ice cold and we received a free koozee...they had just opened this location so I’m sure it was a promo item. The bartender was amazing! She made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the quarter chicken, slaw, and potato salad. Chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Slaw was good, it’s vinegar based. Potato salad was delicious, mayo/ mustard base with relish (I think). It was my favorite. Can’t forget the cheese biscuits either. After a day of shopping be sure to check out Jim ‘N Nick’s!

I'm always impressed with the food and service I receive here at this location. I always get the pulled pork sandwich with either french fries or coleslaw. Can't go wrong with either. Try the banana pudding! It's better than your grandma's.
